Standards-Based Weekly Tests

These offer comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and decoding subtests for each lesson and can be taken on paper or online. You can give any or all of the four subtests.

These assess students using new material and when taken online, look similar to Smarter Balanced Assessments.

You can access the test in two way — either by using the Search for Resources box or as follows:

1. Use the green HMH One Assessments button to locate, choose, and assign the assessment.

2. Click the arrow next to the Assessments.

3. Click the Filter button to select and search for your grade level.

Grab & Go Weekly Tests

These tests assess what students learned during the week and cover comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and decoding are visible under Day 5 / Assessment.

If you want to give it online, select Assign. Otherwise, click the assessment title (e.g., Online Assessment: Weekly Test Lesson 7) to view it.

Accessing Grab and Go Results

Take a look at this short video to learn how to view your assessment details by standard. Very easy once you know a couple of tricks!

You can also download specific assessment results by student by using the View by Assessment tab and clicking the Export button after you have generated your data (as shown in the above video). This will download as a CSV file. To view it, open Excel and then open the CSV file.

Examview

You may see something called ExamView — please note that this is very old technology and cumbersome to use. Please ignore.
