Middle school social science teachers and students are assigned online content from National Geographic Mindtap based on Synergy course assignments.

Sign In Information

Students and staff can log in through the SPS Portal once they have been assigned content.

Students: Accessible two days following enrollment in social studies.

Teachers: Accessible two days following assignment as the primary staff of a social studies section in Synergy.

Problems? Submit a Web HelpDesk ticket if staff/students cannot log in after two days of course assignment in Synergy.

MindTap is an online learning space where teachers and students access rich content and assignments in a simple, integrated user experience. Content includes digital textbooks, multimedia activities, assignments, and a variety of formal and informal assessments. 

Features include adjustable reading levels and content search by standard ensure an impactful experience for both teacher and student.

MindTap: How do you access Britannica Resources?

Although MindTap provides access to Britannica resources, these resources are not available through Google Classroom.

Teachers will need to have students sign in to Mindtap through the SPS Portal and then navigate through the course to access Britannica resources.
