Draw and Tell: Storytelling for Kids!

Springfield Ed Tech Leaders report that Draw and Tell is super user friendly, teaches good iPad skills, very accessible for non-readers, and good for retelling stories, creating number sentences, and social skills “acting out.” Students can record the screen and audio and then play it back.

Overview

Draw and Tell can be used to write, illustrate, and record stories.

Is It Good for Learning? "Kids learn about making and telling stories digitally as they design and record them, using their own imaginations. There's little instruction here about what type of stories to draw and tell, or how to create them. Still, the lack of step-by-step instruction isn't a problem because the icons that kids tap to choose options are clearly marked to show what each means, and the user interface is simple.
