How to Return Items to Tech Services
Standard Item Returns
Package properly! Use a box with some sort of padding to protect the equipment. If damaged in transit the Warehouse or Tech Services will not cover damages.
Label the device (taped to device, post-it will fall off without tape)
From: (School/name)
To: Tech Services
Attention: (Tech Name)
Surplus or Repair?
If it is in for repair please put WHD Ticket number
If sending in item for repair you don’t need to send in the keyboard/mouse if they are not broken.
Large Quantities & Carts
If you are sending back more equipment than would fit in a small car it would be best to let the warehouse know in advance. The normal van is not equipped to handle large carts or a lot of extra equipment. They will send the larger truck for these pickups.
Create a SchoolDude work order ticket
Print Work Order or write WO# on label.
