Today our (very sleepy) 6th graders continued the discussion on Wisdom for their social/emotional lesson and explored levers for their main unit work. There was a big focus on vocabulary today. The students identified 6 terms from an article on wisdom that they wanted to introduce to their vocabulary that can be found on the 6th Grade Work Bank page. 

In a couple weeks, students will begin their main unit project, building a mechanical costume/giant puppet, by applying their understanding of simple machines. Check out some inspirational projects below!
