Today was the final Genius Hour work day. Next week, students will add finishing touches and begin presenting their projects and receiving feedback from their classmates. I will ask the sub to record videos of the presentations given on the final day of GATE. It has been really cool watching the students take things in their own direction! Next week, students may bring a snack for themselves or to share with our class of 17 students.

As we begin our school year and face new challenges, we are seeking new ways to enrich your child's education. A big purchase, I have my eye on is a set of classroom cameras for the 3rd grade photography unit and to help other students with self-expression and documenting the progress of their project work.
