Today the 2nd graders imagined what it would be like to live on the moon! After using last week's double-bubble maps to develop a list of limitations and challenges of living on the moon, we co-create success criteria for awesome moon base designs! Then, the students got to work building, drawing, and digitally designing bases that would keep a moon resident happy and healthy. Most students were able to add these to their Book Creator portfolios. Students will self-assess their work, receive peer feedback, and compare their solutions to those of the Artemis mission plans next week!
The last class will be May 12th. (TOO SOON!! 😭)
Our current wish list includes a set of classroom cameras (~$100 ea), craft supplies of all sorts, and Rubik's Cubes ($12)! Please click on the link below to donate to my Boise Foundation Account. [LOWELL/GATE/GABRIELLI,AUDREY]
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOSE WHO ALREADY DONATED!
IT WILL BE PUT TO GOOD USE RIGHT AWAY!
(I'll start posting as soon as I have confirmed which students from each school are on the No Photo List. Thanks for your patience!)
