The 4th graders finished their mini drone unit this week. They were able to troubleshoot and perfect their drone costume designs to ensure they were balanced, aerodynamic, lightweight, and incorporated movement into their design. I'm so glad that they got to fly the drones before Tello stopped updating the firmware. Who knows... maybe another company will fill the hole in the market for affordable classroom drones, and we will fly again!
As we begin our school year and face new challenges, we are seeking new ways to enrich your child's education. A big purchase, I have my eye on is a set of classroom cameras for the 3rd grade photography unit and to help other students with self-expression and documenting the progress of their project work.
If you would like to help fund our tech needs, supplies for students, brain puzzles, etc, please click on the link below to donate to my Boise Foundation Account. I upgraded and added a ton of classroom supplies this summer with donations from last year, so thank you so much for those donations! [LOWELL/GATE/GABRIELLI,AUDREY]
