Today was such a fun day! All of the costumes are taking shape, and there were tons of troubleshooting, re-engineering, and ah-ha moments. Next week is the last week for building. Then, on November 15th, they will be videoing and demonstrating their costumes for some Lowell elementary students as a grand finale to this challenging project!
I'll be working with the 6th graders to plan a two-week mini unit/choice work for the days between Thanksgiving and Winter Break. After Winter Break, it will be time for DRONES!
UPCOMING: There will be no GATE the week of November 29-December 3.
As we begin our school year and face new challenges, we are seeking new ways to enrich your child's education both in person and virtually. Our current wish list includes a set of classroom cameras, a Tello drone kit, Rubiks Cubes, graphic novels, and more enriching art and tech! (I'll start posting as soon as I have confirmed which students from each school are on the No Photo List. Thanks for your patience!)
