This week, we spent time reflecting on the dissection experience and wrapping up our study of brain anatomy. Students created blog posts chronicling their dissection experience and comparing their discoveries about the similarities and differences of a sheep and a human brain. If they finished early, the explored YouTube playlist of interesting brain information. After lunch, they worked on creating brain lobe hats as a way to wrap up their brain anatomy study. Next week, we will take a closer look at the roll of brain neurons and neuroplacticity.
UPCOMING: There will be no GATE the week of November 29-December 3.
The photo to the left is blurry, but it still cracked me up seeing most of the students tromping down the hallway shamelessly wearing their brain hats.
I LOVE 4TH GRADE!

Our current wish list includes a set of classroom cameras, a Tello drone kit, Rubiks Cubes, graphic novels, and more enriching art and tech! (I'll start posting as soon as I have confirmed which students from each school are on the No Photo List. Thanks for your patience!)
