What Is Pull Out GATE?

Boise School District is proud to offer a GATE Pull Out option. This option allows your child to attend a weekly GATE day in a quadrant school. The focus for Pull Out differs from our more academic siblings, Full Time and Highly Gifted. In the Pull Out Program, students will explore universal themes of innovation, creativity, exploration, ethics, relationships, and wisdom. Students will be asked to think deeply about these themes and how they play a role in their own lives. This opportunities will be coupled with opportunities for project-based learning where students can use and develop skills in creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, communication, collaboration, engineering, social/emotional learning, and the arts. Our aim is to expose students to an abundant array of topics and experiences, so that as they learn and grow, they become more aware of themselves and how they contribute to their world.
