This week in GATE, the 4th graders continued work on their hero's journey crankie project. They worked with a guest teacher to create storyboards for their projects before crafting their hero shadow puppet. Most students were also able to start writing a script to follow as they narrate the story with their crankie. The guest teacher had a wonderful report of the students' behavior and work. Next week, students will be able to begin construction and artwork for their crankies! I can't wait to see these begin to come together!
We're all set on building materials and snacks for the time being! Thank you so much for all of the generous donations!
As we begin our school year and face new challenges, we are seeking new ways to enrich your child's education both in person and virtually. Our current wish list includes a set of classroom cameras (~$100 ea) and Rubiks Cubes ($12)! Please click on the link below to donate to my Boise Foundation Account. [LOWELL/GATE/GABRIELLI,AUDREY]
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOSE WHO ALREADY DONATED!
IT WILL BE PUT TO GOOD USE RIGHT AWAY!
(I'll start posting as soon as I have confirmed which students from each school are on the No Photo List. Thanks for your patience!)
