This week the 4th graders started out by learning about the Idaho Dark Sky Reserve and some of the ways that Idaho is leading the nation in protecting access to the night sky. They were then challenged to research and create a presentation to teach about the impacts of light pollution on an organism of their choice. After reviewing research and note-taking skills, the students got to work researching. They will finish up and present this research next week.
The last class will be May 17th.
