Jack Dawson

For Irvin's fifth voyage aboard Titanique, he thought it might be time to branch out from cosplaying Celine Dion, and chose to cosplay Jack Dawson in his favorite moment from the show: when Jack is (hilariously) drowning while Rose and company sing "The Prayer."  It's such a perfect distillation of what Titanique does best: taking the saddest moment of the film, and making it hilarious through Constantine Rousouli's hamming it up, set to a perfect song choice from Celine Dion's oeuvre.

Luckily, Irvin had a solid chunk of the costume in his closet already, such as brown suspenders and belt.  Jack's "slim-fit khakis" hearken back to Fiyero's tight pants.  So Irvin just had to get the olive shirt Jack wears, and some blue-white fabric to drown in.

In a twist of cruel irony, the day of the cosplay was incredibly hot, while Irvin was cosplaying someone freezing and dying of hypothermia.  The irony was not lost on Irvin, as those slim-fit khakis trapped the heat in, and he kept saying "I'm dying of cold" in vain hopes of manifesting the feeling.

It's a very specific cosplay, but plenty of fans recognized it and offered compliments.  An even bigger compliment was when Frankie Grande recognized him at the stagedoor, having only seen Irvin as Celine previously - that seems to place Irvin firmly in "superfan" territory if the cast recognizes him regardless of costume!

After the stagedoor, Irvin made sure to get photos in as many of the silly poses from the show as he could, having tried to pay close attention in the scene while also doubled over in laughter.

When Irvin got tickets to the closing performance of Titanique on Broadway, he wanted to stick with the theme of Jack's death, and adjusted the costume to be Jack as an angel, who has a brief appearance when Rose is being rescued by Unsinkable Molly Brown.  He kept the Jack outfit, and bought angel wings and a halo (which cast member Frankie Grande theorized might be the exact same cheap ones that the show itself got on Amazon).  Showing up as a dead Jack to the closing performance seemed quite poignant!

The weather was once again uncooperative, with it raining all day, as Irvin strove to keep his angel wings dry.  He was mostly successful.

The costume was a huge hit with the crowd of Titanique superfans, because of how incredibly specific it is!  Jack only has one line while he's an angel: "Use your rape whistle!"  So Irvin just kept saying it to everyone he came across - which, frankly, just seems like good sensible advice to be dispensing!  And if someone said it to him, he had the rejoinder, "That's what I keep telling people!"  The interactions were hilarious either way.

The show was incredibly special, with a dozen standing ovations throughout!  Afterwards, Irvin got to meet Layton Williams and Frankie Grande at the stage door.  There were several other cosplayers present - a ship captain, a seaman, a Rose - but no other Jacks!  When all the cosplayers got together for a group photo, Frankie Grande ran over to be in it as well.  There was pretty much a mini photo shoot outside the St. James Theatre!
