Frenchy

Costume Debut: August 2018

With Andy Miller, the original Frenchy

During the closing week of Puffs, when Irvin was working on cosplaying every member of the cast, he chose the Friday (his 22nd viewing of Puffs) to cosplay Andy Miller's characters. He borrowed some key elements for Leanne and Helga from his friend Angelica, but the real costume Irvin was working on was Frenchy, the Puffs version of Fleur Delacour. There were two key elements to bring Frenchy to life (three if you count the sashaying hips!). First, the blue beret. Second, the baguette (which Irvin always enjoyed as the multilayered joke of "baguette" being French for "wand"). Irvin ordered plastic baguettes off Amazon, which didn't come in time, so he stopped by a supermarket on the way to Puffs to buy a real baguette. After all, authenticity is best!

The cast was very excited to see an obscure character like Frenchy cosplayed, especially when it turned out there was a real baguette involved! Irvin made sure to get pictures with Andy Miller, as well as get video of him doing Frenchy's signature catchphrases!
