Jessica Rabbit

Since 2023 was to be the year of the rabbit, Irvin's family decided to make their New Year's performance themed around Who Framed Roger Rabbit?  Of course, the role of Jessica was going to obviously be portrayed by Irvin - his family knows him well enough for that!

Cosplaying Jessica proved to essentially be an engineering project.  Jessica's not bad, she's only drawn that way... but presents quite the challenge!

The accessories and such were straightforward, but how to ensure that a backless and strapless dress would stay up when subjected to the physics of the real world rather than the animated one?  Irvin got a regular glittering red dress, made lots of cuts to it, and then employed invisible string to ensure it would actually stay up (even if it did rather dig into his shoulders once enormous balloon boobs were added).

Irvin's cousin portrayed Roger Rabbit, and his aunt was Eddie Valiant, in a skit all about trying to save the New Year.  (Video of the skit is a work in progress...)  As can be seen below, the whole family rose to the occasion costume-wise!

Once Jessica appeared and the skit was finished, an entire queue formed to take pictures with her - after all, it's not often that such a busty presence is at New Year's celebrations!
