Tanya (Mamma Mia!)

Irvin is a huge fan of ABBA and Mamma Mia! - for him, the release of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was by far the biggest movie event of 2018.  So many months before the film came out, Irvin roped his friends into doing a group cosplay to see the movie on opening night.  The allocation of characters was entirely obvious - Angelica would be Donna (she's handy with tools and comfy in overalls), Margaret would be Rosie (because she embodies all Julie Walters characters), and Irvin would be Tanya.  It's almost uncanny how perfectly they fell into their roles.

The evening was everything they'd hoped for, as they cried, sang, and roared with laughter at how accurately their dynamic reflected on screen.

Three years later, Irvin sought a creative project to work on after a year of the coronavirus pandemic.  Through some miscommunication with MuggleNet, he came upon the project of filming a video of ABBA's "Waterloo" in honor of Eurovision - except since ABBA didn't actually dance much, he elected to hearken to the film version (and spiced it up with some choreography from the Broadway version).  He roped his friends Sarah and Gigi into doing it with him.

Obviously, Irvin would be the Tanya of the project.  But for this, it had to be Tanya rocking out at a disco concert.  So Irvin donned a disco jumpsuit, go-go boots, and a lot of disco ball-themed jewelry.  It was very extra and very sparkly - and Irvin felt right at home!  (He also intends to go actually dancing in this getup as soon as going out dancing becomes a thing again.)  They had a great time filming "Waterloo" - now some video editing just needs to happen to properly show it off!
