In many ways, 2010 was the year Irvin came into his own as a cosplayer. Now having some experience under his belt (and robes in his closet), Irvin grew more creative with his costumes. He further explored the characters of the Black Family, alongside many others. There was a wealth of occasions that called for cosplay: Halloween, TGTSNBN's cosplay days, visits to Harry Potter: The Exhibition, conventions, parties, and so forth.

In fact, many of the cosplays Irvin created would go on to become his signature costumes for many years to come: Gilderoy Lockhart is one of his most instantly recognizable and well-known cosplays. Bellatrix, Draco, Neville, Lucius, and Cedric all received many reprisals and refurbishments over the years. Really, this was the foundational year for Irvin's cosplay.
