Igor Karkaroff

It took longer than everyone expected, but in 2017 Irvin finally got around to cosplaying Igor Karkaroff, the sleazy headmaster of Durmstrang. With his sleek silver furs, grey hair, and goatee, this Karkaroff was accurate to every descriptor provided in Goblet of Fire... which went over the heads of all but the most knowledgeable of HP fans. But it was the perfect costume for late November, where the fur coat was nice and toasty. TGTSNBN had a low-key cosplay day in Bryant Park, which had an unfortunate dearth of characters related to the Triwizard Tournament. On the upside, there was a Cornelius Fudge, and he and Karkaroff had some rather tense negotiations about the Triwizard Tournament.
