In March 2010, Irvin cosplayed Bellatrix Lestrange for TGTSNBN's spring cosplay day. Using just the right mixture of sexiness, scariness, and depravity, he turned an awful lot of heads that day. He was groped by many people that day, and took many pictures with women with hands on each other's breasts. He acted out Bellatrix's duel against Tonks, Harry, and Molly Weasley. Once again, Bellagulus pictures were taken by Irvin and his friend Emma, with the roles reversed this time. Also, after traipsing around hills in heels all day, Irvin gained an awful lot of respect for what women go through.

He reprised the outfit the following June and July for a music video shoot for the Dancing Death Eaters, set to Spells and Scars by Oliver Boyd. He surprised everyone by being able to dance just fine with boobs - it's not as hard as girls make it out to be.

The outfit was then retired for nearly three years due to a large influx of Bellatrixes in TGTSNBN, but Irvin finally donned it again at MISTI-Con 2013. He was captaining the "Noble and Most Ancient Team of Black" for Family Feud - while they did not win, they did have a good time hamming it up. At other events during the day, Irvin got to whack people with noodles, duel and kill Sirius Black, and do all manner of crazy things.

Six years and two MISTI-Cons went by, but for MISTI-Con 2019, Irvin wanted to dress up as Bellatrix for The Art of Wizard Dance, to do a dance set to Ashley Trix's song Rodolphus. As fate would have it, a few hours before the dance class, Irvin was at Madam Malkin's Consignment Shoppe and found a svelte black dress that fit him like a second skin. He immediately bought it (right out from under Ashley's nose!), and it formed the cornerstone of his refurbished Bellatrix cosplay. This was a Bellatrix who was sleek and sexy, not just out of Azkaban, but one who'd attend pureblood parties.

Once the new Bellatrix cosplay was handy after MISTI-Con, it became a regular tool of Irvin's for all things related to the Dancing Death Eaters. The dance number they were working on for all of 2019 was My Obsession by The Parselmouths, which was all about Voldemort and Bellatrix. So Irvin was dressing up as Bellatrix for several weeks in a row at the end of the summer to shoot a music video, and reprised it again to perform the dance at Avada KedavRock! 2019 in November 2019.
