James Potter

James Potter marked Irvin's first foray into period costuming - there was a Roller Disco Night at a skating rink in Prospect Park, and costumes were obviously a must. Since James Potter was a teenager in the '70s, dressing up as Marauder-era James seemed appropriate. After doing extensive research into what people wore in the '70s and '80s by asking people who were there, Irvin managed to cobble together a young James Potter. As James Potter, Irvin roller skated for the first time, and only wiped out once.

Roller Disco Night was just a test run for TGTSNBN's Costumed Roller Skating event, which unfortunately had a very low turnout. While Irvin's ambitions of having all the Marauders present were dashed, James's best mate Sirius did make an appearance. James Potter even recklessly played catch with a Quaffle while skating - a very James thing to do - and everyone lived to tell the tale.
