Sharpay Evans

After Irvin had crafted a Ryan Evans cosplay earlier in 2023, and was in need of a Sharpay, he decided that he could cosplay the diva himself and continue to work his way through the entire High School Musical cast.

Sharpay's outfit proved fairly straightforward, since Irvin just needed to buy a pink skirt, tank top, and a sequined bolero jacket (which came in very handy for attending discos in!).  Irvin managed to procure silver heels for the night, and the irony was that while he felt wholly at home dancing in them for hours on end, walking even a few blocks was a struggle.  Evidently, Irvin needs to continue honing the art of walking in heels, though dancing has been mastered.

Since Irvin already knew all the choreography to Ryan and Sharpay's numbers, "Bop to the Top" and "What I've Been Looking For," he just had to learn them all (literally) backwards and in heels.  That paid off at Disney DJ Night, where Irvin got to perform those dances on stage in front of an adoring crowd, and even befriended several Wildcats thanks to the costume.  As everyone knows, all it takes is a good warm-up to be performance-ready!

It should be noted that on the street, plenty of people mistook Sharpay for Barbie ... and that works too!
