Dance Parties

In 2018, Irvin uncovered a wonderful new venue to cosplay at: themed dance parties!  It began with Disney DJ Night; Irvin and his friends went to the second ever one, and it became a regular part of their social calendar, peaking in both quality and quantity in 2019.  To this was added a Broadway Rave - one attempted in 2018, then as a regular event from 2022 onwards.  And a second outlet for Disney costumes was the concerts of Disney cover band The Little Mermen, where dressing up was always encouraged.  There was even one night in 2018 where The Little Mermen and Disney DJ Night both occurred, leading to a double feature and one of the most perfect New York City nights one could imagine.
