Double Dancing Queen

When Irvin turned 34, the theme for the birthday was "Double Dancing Queen" (being "young and sweet, only seventeen" twice over).  

Since Irvin wears plenty of disco paraphernalia in general, he upped the ante by getting the actual yellow jumpsuit from Mamma Mia for the occasion!  It looked great, but it did not breathe in the slightest - the pleather kept what felt like gallons of sweat inside!  Beauty is pain, after all.

The jumpsuit was paired with Irvin's signature disco go-go boots, beanie, and mini-disco-ball jewelry.  The attendees, who have seen Irvin in no shortage of disco-inspired outfits, were nonetheless very impressed at the getup!

The outfit and theme and overall party led to one of the most magical moments Irvin's had - towards the end of the party, just before cake, the entire party sang an a cappella "Dancing Queen" to Irvin!  Having all his friends there, singing his favorite song, hailing him as the Dancing Queen... what could be better?
