Hi! My name is Keanna Ramiscal. I was born and raised in Ewa Beach. I graduated from James Campbell High School in 2017. If I were an artist's tool I would be a camera because I enjoy taking photos and filming videos. I love looking back at all the memories I have created with family and friends.
Video games have been in existence for decades, and with their increasing popularity and a growing number of gamers in the market, questions have arisen about their impact on people. Some skeptics believe that video games have more negative than positive effects. Video games offer players the option to play solo or engage in multiplayer games, where they can interact and communicate with other players. This raises the question of whether gaming can enhance social skills or have the opposite effect. After researching the effects of gaming on social skills, it has been found that the impact depends on several factors, such as the type of game, environment, and the people with whom one plays. Overall, gaming can improve social skills in certain contexts.
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
