My name is David Sinathalang. I graduated from Waianae High School Class of 2013. After graduating I attended Leeward Community College for 2 years and transferred to West Oahu. At first I was in school for Pre-Med, but found out that it was not for me and changed my major to Agriculture and then finally changed my major to Creative Media with more focus on filmmaking and editing. I really enjoy creating videos for my friends and family to watch. And this really became a passion of mine. If I were an artistʻs tool, I would be a camera. I would like to capture the moments we are able to look back to and enjoy countless times.
The purpose of this study is to explore the production and creativity of videos and how they help with the development and improvement of creativity. This study seeks to answer the research question, How does making videos help with creative development? The goal here is to analyze myself and see how much I have grown in 8 weeks of creating videos. Repetition is a necessary part of mastering any skill and one of the best, most convenient ways you can do that is to give yourself video editing practice opportunities.
