Iʻm Chayce. I grew up in Honolulu and moved to Kapolei when I started high school. The high school I attended was President William Mckinley High School. I transferred from Leeward Community College. If I were an artistʻs tool, I would probably be a pencil because whatever mistakes I make can be easily fixed without many repercussions.
This research examined the evolution of mass media from the early adoption of newspapers in the United States, the integration of the radio to the masses, the commercialization of television, and the creation of the internet and modern social media. The research also discussed issues such as propaganda, “yellow journalism,” and “fake news” as significant situations that heavily affected the media world. Additionally, the paper explores how each medium of media has been integrated with the public audiences. The topic of media literacy is also discussed within the report because individuals need to understand and analyze media messages making their own decisions instead of being led by uncredible media sources. Another topic discussed is social media and the ways it has made media more intertwined with people all around the globe. Having access to different social media all in the palm of one’s hand, it has become much easier to consume massive amounts of information from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. Social media issues are also discussed, such as misinformation and propaganda, which can travel instantly to millions around the world, making these issues hard to stop
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
