I grew up in Hawai‘i and moved around form Kaimuki, Aiea, and then finally to Ewa Beach. I attended James Campbell High School and graduated in 2018. I will be graduating with a BA in Creative Media. If I were an artistʻs tool, I would say a blank sheet of journal paper, as I love to write and create stories with little to no context.
An amassing number of points concluded from the research suggest that storytelling and creative writing have a profound effect on the mental and physical state. Defining what mental health is vital to the understanding of this research and its content. Once a correct and thorough examination of what mental health can be termed as, the examination must continue into if the sexual orientation, economic status, to determine if this makes a difference in who mental health effects. The last item used to support the beginning claim is comprehending the volume of work a college student has. At this point of the argument, the compelling evidence from studies and literary publications support storytelling/creative writing ameliorating one's experience in college. With these findings provided the final summary of the paper would follow suit that through sharing personal accounts, and creative storytelling one would find there mental health increased, reduction of anxiety levels, and the relaxation they are not going through this experience alone.
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
