Hello, my name is Irin Tharnjirasin. I was born and raised in Thailand and moved to Hawaii in 2014 to live with my mother. I graduated from Aiea High School in 2017. I attended Leeward Community College after that and then transferred to UHWO in 2020. If I were an artistʻs tool, I would be a color palette that is open to the diversity and difference of people's true colors.
Color can reflect people's attitudes, and aspirations, and drive the emotions of people. There are different meanings associated with different color tones in psychology. All of these things play an important role in our daily lives, specifically when we are making decisions about what to buy. For this reason, designers, marketers, and businesses pay close attention to the use of color. However, there are millions of colors in the world, therefore, causing color trend predictions to be born in order to respond to the needs of consumers.
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
