If I was an artist's tool I would be a canvas since I find myself a pretty open minded person who wants to absorb as much knowledge as I can.
Video games are known for its enjoyability and escapism but can be capable of much more than just pure entertainment. Video games are having a positive effect with people struggling with mental health issues such as PTSD and depression. Many psychologists and researchers are utilizing video games as a way to learn more about the human mind and potentially learn ways to cure even the worst mental diseases like dementia or Alzeheimer’s. This is why video games are an essential medium for people to not only entertain themselves but to also improve their mental-being.This research paper will look at video games and how it has helped the medical world understand ways they can be used to promote health and overall good well-being.
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
