Hi! My name is Zachary Hata. I grew up in Nuuanu. I attended Roosevelt High School. I transferred from Honolulu Community College. If I was an artist's tool, I would be a computer mouse because they are essential to helping people utilize computers and many creative programs hosted by them.
Video editing is seen almost everywhere from home videos, to online videos, to the makings of many TV shows and movies. That being said, the value of video editors can often be overlooked. The research paper dives into how video editing is an essential process for helping individuals in different communities such as teachers, doctors, and senior citizens. Results from featured studies suggest that there is more to video editing than meets the eye. In his video series, Hata interviews people to learn about their experiences with video editing. He also gives an analysis of how to use some editing techniques and some real-life applications of when they are needed.
The concept of creativity has come a long way. The Old Greeks would call those creative forces muses, other religions referred to them as God. Today people still mostly treat creativity as an aha moment outside the area of influence. However, just by looking at the creative process one can tell, that creativity and creative work is more than just that one "Aha-Moment" (insight). It is clear that generating ideas demands planning and preparation, identifying something of interest like a problem, an opportunity or a challenge, doing research. This then leads to thinking of a solution, allowing time to incubate and iterations before arriving at something “complete.” Students learn that hard work is what makes their ideas come to life and sticktuiveness is what helps them get better.
