“We have probes that plug into laptops and can record a person’s temperature, PH levels and motion for different projects,” she said. “When we were learning about echolocation, the kids could plug into their laptop and experience sound and motion bouncing off objects like bats or dolphins. “It’s about taking complex science concepts and learning in a hands-on way,” she said of her teaching approach. “It’s more motivating and understandable for kids.”
