Анотація.

У статті висвітлено відантропонімний словотвір у сучасній українській мові. Проаналізовано деривацію слів різних частин мови, мотивованих прізвищами та іменами державних, політичних, релігійних, мистецьких діячів. Встановлено словотвірні типи в сучасному деантропонімному словотворі. Виявлено, що відантропонімний словотвір здійснюється у межах словотвірних типів, властивих відапелятивній деривації, однак антропоніми як підклас онімної лексики, з огляду на їх семантичну природу, часто позначаються на словотвірній семантиці словотвірних типів.

DEANTHROPONYMIC WORD FORMATION IN THE MODERN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract.

Background: With the formation of the stem-centric aspect of the study of word formation in the Ukrainian language, research in the field of onym lexical derivation has intensified, within which deanthroponymic word formation is distinguished. Its characteristic feature is that the stem base of deanthroponyms in recent decades, due to the independence of our country and the formation of its cohort of statesmen, politicians, religious, artistic figures, has significantly expanded and enriched. At the same time, the process of creating new words in the modern Ukrainian language on the basis of the names of foreign statesmen continues.

Purpose: In this article we aim to outline the possibilities of surnames and names of state, political, religious, artistic figures in replenishing the lexical structure of the modern Ukrainian lan-guage with new word-forming nominations, to determine the main word-forming types of deanthroponymic word-formation and their productivity.

Results: The study showed that surnames, much less often names, of Ukrainian statesmen, politicians, public, religious, artistic figures, as well as foreign ones, are often used in modern Ukrain¬ian word formation as a stem base of derivatives of different parts of speech and semantics, supplementing the lexicon of the modern Ukrainian language. Deanthroponymic word formation is carried out within word-forming types, inherent in the appellative derivation as a subclass of onymic vocabulary often affects the word-forming semantics of word-forming types. The combination of several derivational formants with atypical for them stem bases - anthroponyms caused a deliberate violation of the norms of derivational connectivity, and thus the emergence of occasional derivatives.

Discussion: Anthroponyms, which are used in modern word formation, are the derivational basis of the formations of different parts of speech, but the vast majority of them are suffixal substan¬tive derivatives. Among them, word-forming types were identified to denote persons with the forms -ets, -ist (-ist), -en-, -at-, null suffixes, composite, contaminative derivatives-names of persons. Within the substantive deanthroponymic formations with abstract meaning, word-forming types with the suf¬fixes -izm (-izm), -shchin-, -stv-, -ian-, -iad-, -atsi- are widespread as well as contaminated and composite derivatives. The names of specific objects are represented by single derivatives. Insignifi¬cant productivity in deanthroponymic word formation is characterized by word-forming types of different semantics of adjectives and verbs.
