Book of Solitude

The Book of Solitude is relatively a thin book, consisting of six roads with about 30 pages each. It teaches the wisdom of observation on the one hand and life experience on the other. It addresses topics like observing and studying places and cultures from afar, and only after careful scrutiny should a Watcher attempt to learn from a person. The final portion discusses the joy of random meandering and the contrast to the humdrum boredom and sometime foolishly narrow-minded effort involved in journeying from one location to another.

True follower or the New Paths are prohibited from staying at any location for over 3 days, and may not consort with any one person longer than 5 days, except in an effort to recruit the individual. Even adventuring followers tend to avoid staying in a dungeon or other location longer than their faith allows.
