Dark Halfling Racial Traits

    • Dark Halflings are nimble and good with their hands, but their size keeps them from being particularly strong. +2 Dexterity, -2 Strength

    • Small-sized: As small-sized creature, Dark Halfling gain a +1 size bonus to armor class, a +1 size bonus on attacks rolls and a +4 size bonuse on Hide checks, but they must use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carring limits are three-quarters of those of Medium-size characters.

    • Dark Halfling base speed is 20 feet.

    • Improved Low-light Vision: Dark Halfling can see four times (x4) as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight and similar condition or poor illumination. They retain the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.

    • Halfling Luck: +1 racial bonus on all saving throws, Dark Halflings are lucky creatures, which often allow them to escape the worst effects of spells and abilities.

    • Fearless: +2 moral bonus on saving throws against fear, this bonus stacks with the Halfling +1 saving throws in general.

    • +2 racial bonus on Intimidate, Bluff, and Move Silently checks: Dark Halflings are unnerving, untruthful, and have an uncanny knack for stealth.

    • +2 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks: Dark Halflings have keen eyes and ears, they are quite skilled in overhearing secrets.

    • +1 racial bonus on attack rolls with a thrown weapon: Dark Halflings delight in inflicting harm from afar.

    • Silence: Dark Halflings can be supernaturally silent when they so wish. Dark Halflings can suppress or resume a supernatural effect identical to a silence spell centered on themseves. This silence effect only extends to the Halfling. The Dark Halfling may only have this ability active for a number of rounds each day equal to x2 Charisma Modifier.

    • Shared Heritage: Dark Halflings gain Bluff as Innuendo skill with a +2 racial bonus to Innuendo checks when sending a message to or receiving a message from another Halfling or intercepting a hidden message between Halflings.

    • Automatic Languages: Halfling and Merchant's Tongue. Bonus Languages: Low-Elven, Celestial, Dwarven, and one regional human language.

    • Favored Class Rogue: A multiclass Dark Halfling's rogue class does not count when determining whether he takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.
