Martial Weapons: One-Handed Swords

A sword is a long, usually pointed and tapered, metal blade ranging from 3 to 6 feet in lenght. The sword blade ranging from piercing and slashing, with the flat of the blade being used as a tool for reprimanding or knighting. The sword is the primary weapon of most fighters. Though it appears to be a fairly simple weapon, each section of the sword has a specific name and purpose.
