Today was a great day on Mars! This morning Schumann, Steffan, Shannon and Doug finished setting up the wind turbine. It took a lot of hard work, but the wind turbine is up and working great! Shelby and I experimented with different dry shampoo recipes this morning. After a few failed attempts, we found that dry maple oatmeal flakes and baking soda work great. Water conservation at its best! We had to postpone 3d printing tires for our NASA INSPIRE outreach project due to a brief power outage. This morning we had a reporter from Czech radio visit crew 130. It was fun sharing our experience so far with Czech radio! We gave them a tour of the hab and they took a lot of great video and photos of our wind turbine EVA. This afternoon Shelby, Doug and I got the ATVs running. Doug gave some instruction on using the GPS and navigation and we got to practice driving the ATVs while testing the coverage of our radio repeater. Now Schumann and Steffan are busy preparing tonight's dinner, fried rice! Dinner is smelling delicious!
