Notes:
Last night, the XO told me that he was having a minor headache and feeling a little tired. Because
it was late at night, I told him to rest and let me know how he was feeling in the morning. When he
woke up he told me he rested well and woke up in good spirits.
While having breakfast a spider came down from the celling directly to the journalist’s left arm. We
helped him took the spider off his arm and got rid of it. Does Mission Support know if there is some
kind of spider terminator spray?
The EVA engineer and I woke up again with backache. After breakfast I gave him an ibuprofen and I
took one as well. Also, the EVA engineer told me he was having a stuffy nose so I
gave him a Halls pill, the same as the rest of my crew to prevent sore throat or stuffy noses.
Just a sweet cooling measure.
At 11 am, the XO was drilling some parts for the data acquisition module in the first floor of the
Hab –tools area- and the drill had contact with his left glove and destroyed it. He almost injured
his fingers because he couldn’t turn off the drill. I told him to use fabric gloves instead of the
surgical ones.
At 2 pm some crewmembers performed a first EVA simulation. Even though they reviewed the EVA
Checklist they forgot to take their water bottles. Despite they were near the Hab they experienced
some tiredness for the lack of water. I told everybody they must absolutely bring their water
bottles with them when going on an EVA. After the EVA all the crewmembers did some exercises. We
practiced some Muay Tai and Breakdance moves in order to sweat and stretch a little.
