March 18th,
We all woke up with energy. Filled up with enthusiasm, work started early. Cristina, our private and
exclusive press representative, came by in the morning and was amazed by the preparations we did just to go outside. We
suited up with our best EVA suits, entered the pressurized airlock and stepped on martian soil. We
tested the stretcher under the blazing Sun, carrying it with a person on it. Stretcher plus equipment
plus EVA suit is not a good combination for 1G. After an hour of being outside, all the team was with
low batteries. To recharge them, we had hamburger with mushroom sauce. Then, kept on working on
variations of the stretcher. Sadly, the antennas didn't arrive today, so there was not much work on
Barsoom (a.k.a. DAM project).
Today was a bit colder than before, but the teamwork kept us warm. There is nothing more enjoyable
than being able to work with such a great team. And with Mission Support back on Earth, everything is
fine. Good work team!
