Eva Number: 13
Eva Date: 03/09/2013
Time Slot: Later PM
Purpose:
Confirmation of data provided by remote operators of cerberus crowdsourcing game.Â
Narrative:
Today we headed out for the last EVA of our mission at approx. 15:00, comparing the data points investigated by Hans' crowdsourcing game which we use to map Mars with the actual visual available data.
We headed first east, investigating what was to be a circle in the ground and revealed as ATV tracks from ourselves. We went further and investigated four more positions, a river delta, an inverted channel, which also was a in truth a delta and two hill top positions which were allegedly sulphate deposits, but really just clay. Approximately half past 4 we started back towards the Hab and reached it just in time before being fully hit by the brewing storm.
