Notes:
A short report on the MUSK used march 1 2013. We had given the MUSK a first run. Started at about 8 pm up till 10 pm.
We used optics only, so no CCD. Alligning at first was difficult by finding the right star, but eventually we got it right. We just made some random observations wich we had choosen using an iPad galaxy map. Jupiter was especially beautifull with 2 moons close to it.
Each crew member managed to take a look and it was just a relaxing evening looking at the stars.
About the MUSK I noted that the lens cover of the small telescope was not on, so I now placed it there. Some eye pieces are unfortunately quite dusty, so next time I will see if i can bring a cloth I use for my photocamera to get some dust of.
We have planned one more observatory evening, I however doubt if I will use the CCD due to priority i have to give to other goals.
