Time departed/returned from EVA: #2 None
Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: DFD “Duty Free Day”
EVA #1None
EVA#2: None
Engineering/Hab maintenance: Daily engineering checks completed. All normal. All water now in external tank, wagon water tank empty. DG advised.
Packages delivered to the Hab: ATV fuel
Plans for tomorrow: 1 EVA to log position of magnetic anomaly reported from eva team on Saturday, verify previous compass unreliability indications and photograph the area. The team will also survey the area further afield for more possible anomalies.
Support requests: Jean Hunter advised of a few items of replenishments required for the Hab.
Miscellaneous: The crew had a good lay in today to recover from the past weeks hectic activities. Dan Wilcox treated the crew to a full cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs with microwave bacon (tasted like the real thing!) and homemade fried potato pancakes which went down very well! If anything, this crew is not starving for lack of good cooks!!! Tonight’s main meal is a 15 bean homemade soup, it is cold out.
Note: Paula Crock and I fixed an alignment problem with the Observatory hatch system by recommendation of the Astronomy Team. The film crew scheduled for arrival this Tuesday is now not able to make it and have rescheduled for early January much to the disappointed of crew 119.
Crew spirits remain high and looking forward to rest of the week.
