Purpose:
measure the radioactivity level of rocks, and measure the strike and dip
Narrative:
Me, Ilin and Khokhlov went to EVA-8. Along the route we stopped to measure natural radioactivity of the field and measure the strike and dip. Measurements revealed the following:
- confirmed the assumption of the fall of rock layers under some angles and azimuths.
Radioactivity measurements showed the presence of a weak background radioactivity in the layers of clay and its virtual absence in the layers of conglomerates. WayPoint 4 has a slightly bigger radioactivity in contrast to the others, but still within the normal range.
