Commander Report

Liz Mitchell
Today, we had one crew EVA. Kyle, Santiago, and James went on EVA to collect samples for Santiago's
research. James and Kyle also tested James's equipment while out on EVA.
Brad and I worked on future Mars labs for students to use (and MDRS) for future groups to come out.
Jennifer worked on greenhouse stuff and on her project.
This afternoon has been spent working on projects and the chemistry EVA.
Tonight, we plan to use the telescope. Brad will take pictures and use this experience to help him
write a chemistry EVA. Jennifer and I will stay in the Hab and offer support to Brad, Kyle,
Santiago, and James as they do the astronomy lab.
Tomorrow, we plan to wrap up projects and clean the Hab.
Problems:
The internet is working a little slow and clunky. It took a few times to try to sign on to email in
order to access CapComm.
The Hab is completely out of dish soap. We are using baking powder to wash dishes.
