March 20th,
This week has been pure insanity with work. Today is no exception. We
managed to try 2 configurations
of the stretcher and test it all day long. We were so immerse into the
EVA that we lost track of time.
I don't know what time we are supposed to eat lunch anymore. As days
pass, everyone feels that time
goes faster and the end of this amazing journey is closer. Two weeks
seemed long, but how wrong we
were.
Living at Mars for more than a week we people who once were strangers
is really interesting. Getting
to know the diverse kind of personalities from each teammate, doing
work together, working out like
there was no tomorrow, enjoying meals like there was A tomorrow
(managing every ounce of food we have)
and watching movies made our bonds stronger. Sometimes it feels that
the only way to keep our sanity
in this wide solitude is laughter... and the Bread Maker.
We hope to finish all the projects and not cause much trouble to
Mission Support. And remember, from
here, Earth looks so tiny that it feels there are no boundaries
between countries. We only have one
home planet and we must take care of it!
