It is good idea to listen to the Beatles' 'A Hard Day's Night'. This
song came to my mind when I see that our toilet is blocked and our
water tank is almost empty. It is not a big problem if you are at
home. But it is a big issue if you are at research station in a
desert. And it could be a question of life and death if you are at
Mars.
Nevertheless today was started as very encouraging day. The fifth
crewmember Alexander Ilin arrived at MDRS. He made cool photos with
the retro Soviet red flag on 'Mars'. We hope such photos will remind
people of Space Race era and inspire Russians to revive plans of Mars
exploration.
