Notes/comments on internet/computers?
Hughes-net Status: We exceed the Download Allowance
-System Status: brown
-Receive signal strength 174
-Download allowance status: 0% remaining
General Engineering Notes/Comments:
1) We did exceed the allowance on the Hughes Net. Therefore internet is limited but still working, it is not a problem, we still can use the internet but it is just slow. The next allowance of data (1GB) will be available after midnight.
2) We have a small water drip on top of the shower due to the condensation (please refer to the picture below). The water drip comes from the difference of the air being sucked in (cold air) and the inside temperature (hot temperature) on the surface of the pipe; consequently, it creates water condensation.
The solution would be to install insulation on the pipe.
3) We also sent the router and the modem pictures to Chuck for future reference for the coming crews; so he can help them figure out issues by telling them what and where cables must be plugged for the internet.
4) We also found a water leak in stateroom 6. The leak is on the window and it is venting atmosphere and John is turning blue (joke, lol, he is ok).
5) DG advised me that a winter mix of diesel fuel has already been supplied to the Hab and mixed with the summer mix due to the fact that the summer mix passed its freeze point. With the additional additives put in the summer mix, we should be OK generator wise. However, he also brought the D2 or diesel 2 which has a lower temperature freeze. he specifically told me that everything has been taking care of and he also showed me how to take care of that engine in case we have a power fluctuation due to the bubble.
Well it has been a pleasure working here, I wish I could have stay longer.
Thank you all for your support and your time on Earth. By the way, what about if I miss the next shuttle to Mars, can I stay for two more weeks?
Thank you very Much
Merci beaucoup et a Plus tard.
