Morning songs were some cowboy songs. We enjoyed the songs and western American mood.
It was a cloudy and rainy day, but we took videos and photos successfully for outreach in the morning. We started cleaning and tidying up in the afternoon. This afternoon, science team manager, Shannon, was supposed to come but couldn’t because of snowy and dangerous conditions on the way. But Chuck visited MDRS late in this afternoon, and showed his approval of scheduling and Crew 125’s actions in total.
Hans and I harvested radish, mint, and another herb at Green House. Then, I took some artistic photos near the Hab earlier this evening. Fresh radish was good, especially with Parmesan cheese which makes the taste milder. Dinner was Quinoa Paella and was very delicious and special by Dr. Cdr. Melissa Battler. However, it was raining very hard during dinner and we found leaking rain water. Melissa played Thunder storm song and it was fun. A few days ago, cooking something like Japanese with very limited materials was hard, but it’s already good memory now.
