The First Steps of Crew 121
Traveling thousands of light-years to their new home, Crew 121's ETA dwindled down from numerous months to several days. After their arrival on Mars, they headed down a dirt path that lead towards the Mars Hab. Rock formations and canyons were seen far and wide; some small, tall, slant, elliptical, even some couldn’t be expressed with words. As Crew 121 entered the Mars Hab, smiles were seen left and right with friendly introductions and handshakes. Before Crew 121 was able to get situated into their new home, as the new tenants of the Mars Hab, each crewmember had to be briefed by the previous tenants—Crew 120. Soon after the new crewmembers were given a tour of the Mars Hab, Observatory and the GreenHab. Everyone took in all they could, but realized that their new home would take some time getting used to. Crew 121 said their farewells to Crew 120 and took their first steps unaided as the new tenants at the Mars Hab. As the crew got settled in, a meeting was called by the Crew Commander to help everyone get organized and on the same page for their busy days ahead.
