02/27/2013 Wednesday (Mission Day 5)
Ayako Ono
The fifth day was sunny Wednesday. We did morning stretch including
Yoga’s posture. I taught a morning stretch which is helpful for good
posture for a day. During the breakfast, we were talking about
astronauts’ selection, astronauts’ personality and astronauts who
became governors. Then, we reviewed our schedule for today. The blood
pressure measurement to know each average was scheduled in the
morning, and it was completed.
Each person did something related to each project until the
measurement. I helped to take care of green house, mainly pouring
water for plants. However, I was not feeling very good late in this
morning, so started to make a small Zen Garden in a box after took a
rest. I used the regolith which I got during EVA yesterday. Touching
soil was making me feel better. Lunch time topic was about SF movies.
There was a strong preference and a lot of point of view. After the
lunch, we adjusted the placement of EVA suits’ helmets. Volker
invented better way for the placement. Today’s EVA was successfully
found geologic samples and took great photos with sunset. Dinner was
minestrone taste potato soup and spinach egg. Desert was apple paste.
We had a good day.
